7/31/20-8/2/20: AMC and Universal deal challenges theatrical windows | China Box Office Performance of Dolittle and Interstellar impresses, Sonic stumbles

AMC and Universal strike a deal to allow PVOD rentals only 17 days after theatrical release. We look at the potential fallout within the industry, and also what might prevent it from taking over the industry completely (particularly if other Exhibitors and Studios will follow suit). We also look at Box OFfice performance here and in China, with Dolittle and Interstellar putting up strong numbers
